I first met Dily’s when I was a shy, petrified little girl at 11. Brought by my god father Ean along to rehearsals for Jane Eyre at 3D Theatre. Dilys as she did for everybody gave me a warm smile and made me feel instantly welcome and I quickly realised this gentle soul was well loved and respected and the companys mum of 3D. Dilys had such love for theatre and this rubbed off on so many people. Dilys played a significant part in my love of theatre and my development of confidence to perform. I will always be incredibly grateful for her kindness, her smile, her parience and her love.
